BOWL SMALL

Enamel bowl 01
I do not make a design this time.
The only thing you have to make separate is the small hart with the cloisonné wire.
Of course, you can make any other design you like.
I have chosen to make a hart.
It is advisable to make something on the bottom.
Otherwise the bowl looks boring.
I like to make this bowl in Kings Blue, this color combines very good with silver.

Enamel bowl 02
The bottom of the bowl shall be done first.
To glue the enamel powder to the slopes of the bowl I use enamel adhesive.
With a brush I apply the outside with enamel adhesive thoroughly.
As you can see on the picture, I use a plastic clothes-pin to hold the bowl.
In this way I touch the bowl with ny fingers as less as I can do.

Enamel bowl 03
Place the clothes-pin at another place in order to apply the rest of the outside with the enamel adhesive.
Be careful and do not touch the outside.
Apply the rest oft the outside with enamel adhesive.

Enamel bowl 04
Start sifting with the enamel powder.
Start with the slopes.
Do not apply a thick layer, this can cause to splinter the enamel from the copper.
Everything has to burn twice.
It is better to apply 2 thin layers, instead of 1 thick layer.

Enamel bowl 05
When I reach the area with the clothes-pin, then I crab the bowl with the aid of the tweezers.
I made the tweezers somewhat wider.
The the bowl can rest easily on it.

Enamel bowl 06
You can finish the first enamel layer now.
Careful not too thick.
Check everything on open spots.
